A total of 8788 bales offered; 6590 bales sold. OTAUTAU STOCK SALE. (From Our Correspondent.) There was a very poor yarding at the monthly sale at Otautau on Friday, and prices were low. The cattle entry was chiefly made up of bulls, which met with a very poor demand, prices ranging from 12/6 to £2 10/-. One very nice Jersey was passed at £5. Fat cows made from £3 to £4 5/-. One pen of yearling steers was offered and passed at 38/-. The only sheep entry was a pen of about 60 ewes and lambs, the ewes being good full and failing-mouths, and the lambs good sappy sorts.
