COTTON GOODS
PROSPECTS OF TARIFF. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 11.5 p.m.) London, December 14. The Daily Express says representatives of the Lancashire cotton industry during the week-end had an interview with Mr Walter Runciman, President of the Board of Trade. It is stated that no definite decision has been reached regarding a tariff on cotton piece-goods, but the industry is confident they will shortly be included in the schedule.
