UNEMPLOYMENT COMMITTEE.
To the Editor. Sir,—Can you tell me through your valuable columns who was responsible for the appointment of the members of the Central Unemployment Committee in Invercargill. So far as is known local bodies and other interested organizations were not asked to nominate representatives—the committee just simply met. It was not announced by anyone and for all the general public knows it may not have been appointed by an responsible body at alt—l am, etc., NOSEY.
