Oxford won the seven mile cross country match against Cambridge in .43 minutes 4 seconds. The points against Oxford totalled 20 and those against Cambridge 35. C. W. Benson, who was the winner in 1930 led the field for four and a-half miles and was the only Cambridge man in the first five. The Oxonian J. F. Comes won the race in record tima.
