WRIGHTS BUSH NOTES

(From Our Correspondent.) Upon the occasion of the coming of age of Miss Annie Robertson, third eldest daughter of the late Mr George Robertson and Mrs C. A. Robertson, Wrights Bush, a pleasant social evening was held in the Taramoa Public Hall last Monday evening. The guests, who numbered close on 50, were received by Mrs and Miss Robertson. The programme consisted of dancing and games, music being supplied by Mr G. McDowall and Misses O. Wilson and Anderson. The birthday cake candles were lit, after which the cake was cut and distributed to those present. Mr G. McDowall, on behalf of the guests, thanked the Robertson family for the pleasant evening, and in asking Miss Annie Robertson to accept the large array of presents wished her many happy returns of the day. Mr Walter Robertson suitably replied. Among those present were—Mr and Mrs W. E. Butcher, Mr and Mrs R. Hawke, Mr and Mrs A. Buchanan, Mr and Mrs G. Nunn, Mr and Mrs J.
