SOLDIERS’ MORTGAGES
CLAIMS FOR READJUSTMENT. , (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 24. The Returned Soldiers’ Association conference carried remits that in necessitous cases of returned soldier mortgagors under the State Advances Department mortgagor have the right to obtain a readjustment of the terms of the mortgage on proper application; that while not expressing any dissatisfaction with the existing land boards, representations be made to the Government, to enable the Returned Soldiers’ Association to have a representation on the boards; that the Government be urged.to introduce legislation providing for the revaluation of house properties secured to the Crown under the Disabled Soldiers' Act or State Advances Department.
