OPERATIONS REVIEWED
LOCAL GOVERNMENT LOANS BOARD. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 24. A statement has been issued by the Prime Minister reviewing the operations of Local Government Loans Board which states that applications for the past year amounted to £3,840,505; new amounts sanctioned, £1,766,256; renewals, £838,901. During the four years of the operation of the Act applications amounted to £1,702,930, new amounts sanctioned £12,408,834, and renewals £3,664,793.
