DUNEDIN R.S.A. CHOIR

TO APPEAR AT GORE. More than usual interest centres in the appearance at the Princess Theatre on Saturday evening of the Dunedin R.S.A Choir. Comprising about 50 members, and the only organization of its kind in the British Empire, the choir is recognized as a splendid combination for choral singing, which has been developed by years of training. Gore audiences will appreciate such numbers as "Hallelujah, Power and Glory,” “Hunting Song,” the glorious “Song of the Northmen” and the "Laughing Chorus.” These will be supplemented by several old favourites, including “Funiculi, Funicula.” The choir will have the assistance of Mr Maitland McCutcheon as solo violinist. Mr McCutcheon is a rare artist, possessing artistic faithfulness and a delicate touch. His beautiful tone and buoyant style won him whole-hearted praise in London at his public performances there. Other artists are Misses Noni Davidson and Helen Roy. and Messrs Fred Haig, M. O’Sullivan and John Leech. The concert promises to be ona of the best ever heard at Gore. The box plans are now open at the office of Shelton and Gee, Mersey street.
