LABOUR PARTY AND PUBLIC SERVANTS.

To .the Editor. Sir,—ln the debate on public service salaries, the effect of the Labour, Party’s Stonewall has been disastrous to- the very people whom they pretended to be defending. Once the stonewall-was-commenced it was made impossible for Parliament to consider any ordinary, -reasonable amendments of a non-stonewalling nature; and many of the modifications in the Bill which should and probably would have been made by -the Reform- Party-were thus rendered impossible by the action of the Labour Party. . The -public servants, especially those of us who- have small salaries and large families, will not soon forgive the Labour Party for the way in which it sacrificed our interests to make ’party capital for itself.—l am, etc., ;•
