ORDERS DISOBEYED
PLYMOUTH AIR DISASTER. (Units'! Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) London, February 25. In the House of Commons Mr F. Montague, Under-Secretary for Air, in answer to questions said it emerged clearly from the recent Plymouth flying boat accident that the disaster would not have happened but for direct disobedience of orders on the part of one officer. In order to clear up misapprehensions it should be explained that the officer concerned went up as a marker for gunnery practice and not for flying instruction.
