HALF STARVED
MAN PICKED UP ON ROAD.
SURPRISING SEQUEL.

Gisborne, February 26
A man in a state of starvation and evident distress was picked up on the road by a motorist and taken to the Tolaga Bay Hospital. A nurse later when going through the man’s clothes was surprised to discover a bundle of Commonwealth Bank bills totalling £B4l. The man apparently was suffering from some mental derangement.
