NAVAL INQUIRY
THE PLYMOUTH INCIDENT. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, January 6. 'The Admiralty announces that the court of inquiry into the occurrences on the submarine depot ship Lucia sat to-day and will resume to-morrow. Until' all the evidence has been heard and a report of the court has been forwarded by the Com-mander-in-Chief at Plymouth, no further statement can be issued. MANOEUVRES UPSET OTHER INCIDENTS INVOLVED. (Rec. 103’0 p.m.) London, January 7. The Atlantic Fleet manoeuvres have been considerably upset following the cancelling of the sailing of the Lucia and the submarines attached thereto. The sailing of the cruiser Norfolk has been delayed. The Daily Express states that sensational evidence is likely to be given if the courtmartial is held, as other incidents arc linked up with the Lucia trouble.
