MR FORBES’S TOUR
WAR CEMETERIES VISITED. (United Press Assn.— By Telegraph—Copyright.) London, December 9. Mr G. W. Forbes, accompanied by MajorGeneral Sir Fabian Ware, vice-president of the Permanent War Graves Commission, paid a three days’ visit to the war area in which the New Zealanders fought. He placed a wreath on the Ypres town memorial and was given an official reception by the Burgomaster. Wreaths were placed on the New Zealand tablet in Lyncourt Cemetery, the memorial at Longueval and the French national cemetery at Albert, where the party was accorded a civic reception.
