CONTRACT FOR BOILERS
GLASGOW FIRM SUCCESSFUL. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, December 9. In the face of keen international competition an important contract for eight huge boilers has been given by the Copenhagen Municipality to the Stirling Boiler Co., Ltd., Glasgow. The boilers are required in connection with Copenhagen’s big 30,000-kilowatt power plant, the contract for which went recently to Parsons, Ltd., Newcastle.
