DOG TRIALS
EXHIBITION AT SHOWGROUNDS. The six placed dogs in Monday’s trials gave an exhibition at the Showground yesterday morning. Mr W. Anderson’s Don was unfortunate in getting three stubborn sheep which did not allow him the best advantage. Moreover, he was handicapped further by being a little lame. Mr J. Queale’s Trim put in a perfect run and again repeated her previous day’s good performance. As a young bitch, she should have a good future before her. Mr R. Anderson’s Scot also ran well and put up a nice showing. The other competitors were quite satisfactory, with the exception of Mr J. R. Anderson’s Maid which put up a slightly better run than on Monday.
