LUCKY ESCAPE INVERCARGILL BATHER’S EXPERIENCE. By good fortune a Southland lady made a good “save” the other day. Having postponed the buying of a new bathing suit earlier in the season, she came to It. and J. Smith’s Underwear Section to inspect the new season’s suits and to her delight discovered that in the past month prices had come down to an amazing extent. Here are some of the bargains she discovered:— The famous “Canterbury” all wool one piece Bathing Suite in shades of Royal Blue with contrasting colours on skirt—O.S. size only—formerly 19/6, were now 10/6. The very smart “Manawatu” all wool two piece Bathing Suits in newest colourings—women’s size—formerly 16/6—were now 12/6. Bathing Caps were priced from 9d up to 4/11 and Bathing Shoes were from 2/11, 4/11 to 5/11 pair.—Advt.
