MISSING MEN
SEARCH REVEALS NO TRACE.
BOAT BELIEVED CAPSIZED.

Gisborne, December 8
Though only two men are reported to be missing from Waipiro it is stated that three were sten in a boat. Hamiana Walker, who was at first be lieved to be one of the party, did not go. Both the missing men, Whare Koto and Iherca Paurakau, are married with families. A diligent search revealed no further trace. It is surmised that when the stormy southerly sprang up the boat capsized.
