MAN AND WIFE INJURED. (Per United Press Association.) Palmerston North, December S. A car driven by C. C. Beattie, of Feilding, left the road and struck a ditch while overtaking a milk waggon at Bunnythorpe yesterday morning. The occupants were thrown violently out of their seats, Mrs Beattie sustaining a broken nose, a broken kneecap and other injuries. Beattie was slightly injured. Both were taken to hospital. TWO MEN IN HOSPITAL. Blenheim, December 8. Two men were admitted to hospital as a result of accidents on the Blenheim-Nelson road. Arthur Vorbach, a married man, lost control of a car which crashed into a ditch. Two ribs were broken and he received cuts. Sydney Harris, a single man, was motor cycling from Nelson to Blenheim. He collided in a curved cutting with a car driven by Constable Turnbull, of Blenheim, near Rai Valley. The cyclist is unconscious in the hospital suffering from concussion.
