SOUTH AUSTRALIA WIN WEST INDIES ELEVEN DEFEATED VISITORS OUT FOR 162 (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 7.55 p.m.) Adelaide, December 8. The weather and wicket were perfect for the resumption of the match between the (Vest Indies and South Australia. The attendance was meagre. Requiring 37 runs to save an innings defeat the Indians were very scratchy. Grimmett completely beat Constantine after he scored 3. Bartlett, who had been batting solidly, Was caught at mid-off. His innings lasted 54 minutes and his 33 included three fours. Francis was lucky to escape when 4, Wall dropping him at mid-on, and he,showed his appreciation by late-cutting Waite to the fence. Griffiths mishit the first ball from Lee and was smartly taken by Walker. The innings, which had occupied 152 minutes, ended for 162.
