Wellington, October 20. The House of Representatives met at 2.30 p.m. to-day; Amendments to the Reserves and Olher Lands Disposal Bill, Nurses and Midwives Registration Amendment Bill and National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum Bill, were introduced at night by GovernorGeneral’s Message and read a first time. The HON. A. J. STALLWORTHY stated that the amendment to the Nurses and Midwives Amendment Bill provided for the appointment of an additional nurse to the Registration Board. The Waimakariri River Improvement Amendment Bill was put through the remaining stages and passed. The House rose at 12.35 a.m. till 2.30 p.m. to-day.
