LOAN FOR INDIA
HEAVILY OVER-SUBSCRIBED. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, October 18. An Indian loan of £12,000,000 at 6 per cent, was yesterday over-subscribed between seven and eight times. Approximately £90,000,000 was offered in the short space of the hour during which subscriptions were open for it. This is approximately £1,500,000 a minute.
