GOLF
MATAURA v. WYNDHAM.

On Friday afternoon eleven ladies of the .Mataura Golf Club journeyed to Wyndham and played a friendly match with the home ladies. Owing to rain setting in, in midafternoon, the match was confined to nine holes only, and the result was that Wyndr ham had a comfortable victory, with 9 games to 1 game, with one all square. The scores were as follow, Wyndham names first: Mrs Porter beat Miss Taylor 1 up; Mrs Murphy lost to Mrs Sherwood 2 down; Mrs Robertson beat Mrs Sinclair 1 up; Miss MacLauchlan beat Mrs Clearwater 2 up; Mrs 'Williams beat Mrs Henry 5 and 4; Mrs P. de la Mare beat Miss Stickle 2 up; Mrs Walker beat Mrs Taylor 5 and 4; Miss Richardson beat Mrs Grant 5 and-4; Mrs Harper and; Mrs Weatherburn all square; Mrs Tangney beat Mrs Gormack 2 up; Mrs Crawford beat Mrs Bogue 1 up.
