Returning to his job after a long illness, Walter Sharp, aged 55, a brewer’s drayman in London, was told that he would not be able to take his horses out again, but that the firm would provide him with inside work. Deeply grieved at being thus separated from his charges, Sharp went home and cut. his throat, his wife finding him in a .wash-house with a razor in his hand. A verdict rxf • “Suicide while of unsound mind” w.as recorded at the inquest.
