THE M.C.C. TOURING TEAM. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.* (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, October 17. The M.C.C. team left for South Africa today. It includes three England captains, A. P.‘Chapman, J. C. White and R. E. S. Wyatt. Chapman is captaining the team on his first visit to South Africa. He said he did not know much about matting wickets, but considers the team the best ever sent to Africa. Mrs Chapman is the only woman with the team, Hendren is the father of the party and Voce the baby.
