LAND FOR SETTLEMENT
GOVERNMENT PURCHASE ANNOUNCED. (Per United Press Association.) - Wellin gtbn, September 23. The acting-Prime Minister (the Hon ( E. A. Ransom) has announced that the Government' has approved the purchase of a property near Te Aroha, owned by Mr James McNicol and family. The area is about 2,02 S acres, half-rich river flat and the rest good pasture. From twelve to fourteen good farms should be possible. The property will be offered for selection in March.
