A WARNING

We wish to warn all our country customers that it has been brought to our notice that someone is'travelling in the country taking orders as The Southland Mail Order House. We employ no country travellers, with the exception of special men sent out from our Furnishing Department in connection with furnishing new homes throughout Southland—we gladly lay Carpets, hang Blinds, Curtains, etc. It is recognized by modern Business Houses that a much more satisfactory service can be given by a well-organized Mail Order Department, and furthermore, a saving of from 10 per cent, to 33 1-3 per cent, is passed-on to our customers. H. and J. Smith’s Mail Order Department which is the largest in the South Island has been built up on its supreme value giving service, and no one is authorized to represent the firm.—Advt.
