AUDACIOUS THEFT
SYDNEY YOUTH'S AERIAL ESCAPADE. STEALS PLANE AND CRASHES. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 12.50 a.m.) Sydney, September 21. A young aviator whose identity is undisclosed, gained notoriety to-day and also narrowly escaped death. He stole an aeroplane from Hargrave Park aerodrome intending to be the first to land an aeroplane at Katoomba. However he crashed in Granville suburb and severely damaged the machine but he escaped injury’.
