DRINKING BY WOMEN

(Per United Press Association.)

Aucklan.d June 4.

He had had the convictions for a year analysed and only one woman under 21 had been convicted.

The chairman said no doubt it was a growing evil. The general prohibition of the supply of liquor to women might not have public support, but if the committee was informed that any hotel made a special business of supplying women it would deal with the licensee.
