BANK SHARES RISE

Conditions on the Stock Exchange are now much more buoyant, the better class of industrials, also banks, showing a firm tone. The shares of the Commercial Banking Company of Sydney to-day advanced 7/6, while investors paid 7/6 additional for £lO shares of the National Bank of Australia. The £5 shares of the same institution jumped 6/-. ■
