PROVISIONS FOR RESEARCH. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) Washington, May 1. Mr Legge, chairman of the Federal Farm Board, stated that a tentative outline h,ad been drawn under his favour of an endowed institution with a capital of at least 10,000,000 dollars to aid agriculture through research and other forms of service to be qreated in the near future. USE OF GOVERNMENT MONEY. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Washington, May 1. The United States Chamber of Commerce adopted a resolution demanding that the Federal Farm Board should cease using Government money either to aid farmers’ co-operative associations in the marketing of crops or to buy and sell commodities for the purpose of crop stabilization.
