“NO STEMS IN DILL’S.”. From the very beginning of the J. G. Dill Company, 82 vears ago, there have been no stems in Dill’s Best tobacco. Stems contribute nothing to taste, flavour or fragrance —they detract from all these essential qualities of a good pipe smoke. Devices for flaking and disguising stems to look just like tobacco were perfected nearly thirty years ago, but there have been “No stems in Dill’s” since 1848. Only the tender blades of the leaf are used in making this natural-tasting, clean, dust-free tobacco that doesn’t “bite” or clog the pipe. Tobacconists everywhere sell Dill’s Best. —Advt,
