(United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.)
Rome, April 30.
Following the launching of five warships last Saturday, Cabinet to-day approved the building of one cruiser, two scout cruisers, four destroyers and 22 submarines. REGULAR BUILDING PROGRAMME. (Rec. 12.45 a.m.) Rome, May 1. Inquiries made at the Ministry of Marine show that the new warships are part of the tonnage allocated to Italy under the Washington Treaty. It is no new proposal, but merely a portion of the regular building programme which was suspended pending the results of the London Conference.
