TOKIO SHAKEN?

(Rec. 7.5 p.m.) London, May 1. New York reports a big earthquake in Tokio. No news has been received in London from Tokio.

Regarding the New York report of an earthquake at Tokio, the-director of Riverview Observatory states that the record on his seismograph was very small and indicated that it had occurred in the vicinity of Japan.
