DR. PELTZER AND AUSTRALIA. (Rec. 1.15 a.m.) Sydney, February 5. Dr. Otto Peltzer’s comments at Christchurch on political interference in economic activities in Australia and other matters were briefly replied to to-day by the Prime Minister (Mr Scullin}, who deprecated the hasty comment by casual visitors. He added that Dr. Peltzer could hardly be expected to know his subject, since he “merely ran through the country.”
