BEAM WIRELESS
ALLEGATIONS IN HOUSE OF COMMONS. London, February 3. In the House of Commons, Mt Ramsay MacDonald, in reply to a question, said the Postmaster-General had not refused to use the beam wireless for overseas telephony. On the contrary, a Cabinet Committee was considering the subject. Lieutenant-Colonel Howard-Bury: Is it not a fact that the Imperial beam has been neglected and an allowance made to an American Company, prejuidcing Empire communications seriously? Mr MacDonald: I understand that is inaccurate, but the question should be addressed to the Postmaster-General.
