HEAVY FIRE DAMAGE
, BLAZE IN BACON FACTORY. (Rec. 10.55 p.m.) Melbourne, December 4. A fire at the ham and bacon factory of J. C. Hutton at Preston destroyed a large packing room, also the contents. The loss is estimated at £50,000. ■
