He is by Guy Dillon 2.232 sire of other crack pacers in Warren Dillon 2.061, Emeline Dillon 2.07 J, Guy Borden 2.071, and Guy Boy 2.05. His first dam is Adioo, also dam of Harry Dillon 2.10 (a successful sire). Adioo is grand-dam of 14 with times 2.10 or better. These include Emma Harvester 2.042, Lauderdale 2.05, Betterwin 2.07 Peter Dillon 2.081, American Harvester 2.082, Paul Harvester 2.10, Dillon Axworthy 2.102 (sire of Travis Axworthy). Adioo Guy in his first year’s racing won 7 out of 10 starts and secured a record of 2.10 J at Monroe. In his second year he won 9 out of 12 starts, and gained a record of 2.052. In the following season he made another remarkable campaign and won 8 out of 10 starts. The next season he won 8 out of 9 starts. He made a clean sweep of the rich Orangi Country purses and in the Autumn was sent to Lexington where he scored his record of 2.002 in a great with Sanardo, 1.592. Adioo Guy’s oldest foals have ' reached racing age. Among them Addie (3 years) won the Ohio Governor’s Cup, covering -ae mile in 2.122. Fatima Guy (3 years) put the same distance behind in 2.15, while Robert O Guy registered 2.152. Before leaving America Aidoo Guy was mated with three, of Mr Heyman’s best mares—a filly by Peter the Great, (2.72), Ortolon Axworthy (2.72), and Mabel (2.102). TERMS: £l5 15/-.
