ENTERTAINMENTS ON BOARD

(United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 11 p.m) San Francisco, September 21 The Malola, with 325 passengers, sailed to-day on a tour of the Orient and Australia. The mayor, Mr Rolph, is unable to make the trip, but Mr Robert Lynch, vice-president of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, will manage the tour. It is indicated that the managers plan elaborate entertainments on board the liner in reciprocating the hosiptality shown to the party at ports of call. A great crowd saw the vessel leave and she was escorted through the Golden Gate by a lleet of harbour craft with whistles blowing and bands playing.—Australian Press Association.
