STUDENT ARRESTED
THE ATTACK ON VALDEMARAS. (Rec. 9.15 p.m.) Riga, May 10. A message from Kovno states that a student named Vasilius has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the attack on the Prime Minister, Professor Valdemaras. With several others he was attempting to enter Poland when confronted by the Lithuanian frontier guards. They refused to halt. Bombs were thrown and revolvers fired and Vasilius fell wounded.
