GIG AND CAR COLLIDE
WOMAN FATALLY INJURED (Per United Frees Areocistion.) Auckland, May 9. Fatal injuries were sustained by a passenger in a service car, Mrs. Alice Rosetta Robertson, aged about 40, wife of T. M. Robertson of Akaaka, as the result of a collision between the service car and a gig near Pukekohe this evening. The shafts of the gig struck the car and Mrs. Robertson, who was in the front seat, was struck by a shaft which penetrated her chest. She died within a few minutes. Both vehicles were damaged.
