RIFLE SHOOTING. (From Our Correspondent.) A handicap shooting match ,was held at the butts on 13th inst. The weather conditions were not very good. The match was won by Mr J. Dennis (president), who scored 115 points. Mr C.. Collins was second with 107. Scores:

Mrs Wade (Invercargill) is visiting her daughter, Mrs Paterson, Wendonside. Mrs Mann (Kokongai) has been spending a holiday with her cousin, Mrs Cockburn. Mrs Ayson has returned from spending a pleasant holiday in Waikaka. Mrs Scott (Dunedin) is staying with her aunt Mrs Nahkies. Mrs D. Robertson has returned from a motor tour in Otago Central. Miss Jean Moffitt is staying with her mother and slowly recovering from her recent illness. Miss Hasty (Wellington) is staying with Mrs M. Moffitt. Mrs Craig (Tokanui) is staying with Mrs W. Ayson. Mrs Scott (Dunedin) is spending a holiday with her aunt, Mrs Nahkies. Mr Douglas Chant has recovered from his recent illness sufficiently to return home. Last Wednesday Mrs Gilmour (Freshford) entertained a few friends at a most enjoyable musical evening.
