“OUTRAGEOUS”
INCREASE OF HOSPITAL FEES.

Gisborne, April 18.
The Cook Hospital Board decided to-day to protest against the increase of fees of the King George the Fifth Hospital from nine to twelve shillings a day for adults and six to nine shillings a day for children under 16, the proposal being described as “outrageous.” It was stated that the increased fees would mean an additional expense of £5OO to £6OO per annum to the Cook Board.
