GERMAN OFFER
SETTLEMENT OF REPARATIONS. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Paris, April 18. At a meeting of the reparations experts Dr Schacht presented his memorandum figures, which were kept secret. It is believed that the Germans suggest that annuities run to 37 instead of 58 years at a flat rate round about £80,000,000 to £85.000,000.
French circles are of the opinion that the gan between the Allies’ claims and the German offer does not cover the Allied debts towards America. —Australian Press Association.
