BOROUGH ELECTIONS. BOROUGH OF INVERCARGILL. ELECTION OF MAYOR AND COUNCILLORS FOR THE BOROUGH OF INVERCARGILL AND MEMBERS OF THE SOUTHLAND ELECTRIC POWER BOARD. PURSUANT to Section 12 of "The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925,” I hereby give notice that the following persons have been duly nominated as Candidates for the Office of MAYOR for the Borough of Invercargill:— CAMPBELL, JOHN DANIEL. MILLER, JOHN. And there being only one (1) vacancy to be filled, a Poll will be taken as between the said Candidates on WEDNESDAY, the first day of May, 1929, at the undermentioned Polling places. Polling Hours: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. And I hereby give notice that the following persons have, been duly nominated for the office of MEMBER OF THE SOUTHLAND ELECTRIC POWER BOARD for the constituent district of the Borough of Invercargill: HENDERSON, CHARLES ALLAN HOYLES, ARTHUR LE HEUP And that no other nominations have been received.
