After nine months of close application the Bench in the famous Barmat trial have at last completed their written judgment, which confirms the claims of this case to be the record of the German law courts.

The judgment occupies 1900 typewritten sheets and has been printed in a book of 546 folio pages. It, however, falls short by 102 pages of the indictment. On March 30 last year, which was the 198th day of the trial, the brothers Barmat were sentenced to terras of imprisonment for bribery.
