WILFUL MURDER
MAN BATTERED TO DEATH. (Rec. 9.30 p.m.) Melbourne, April 17. The body of James Christensen, aged 55, unmarried, was discovered in a boxthorn hedge at East Colac. The police are convinced that it is a case of wilful murder. Christensen’s head was badly battered. The victim possessed over £3O before his death and the money was all gone when the body was discovered. Detectives found bloodstained finger-prints on a fence nearby.— Australian Press Association*
