FILM JARGON
ENGLISH JUDGE’S CRITICISM.
London, March 5
Mr Justice Mackinnon, in the course of a lawsuit in the King’s Bench Division concerning the film “Madame Guillotine,” read some literature published about films. He said it was written in a jargon which he did not recognize as English. He added: “I’ve always regarded this film industry as the greatest menace that has ever arisen to literature, art and civilization.”—Australian Press Association.
