ROAD HOGS.

To the Editor. Sir, —I -would like to draw Inspector Stopford’s attention to Elies Road as well as the North Road before someone gets knocked out, especially at the present time with so much loose gravel on the roads. Evidently these hogs are taking to Elies Road as the North Road is too well watched. On Saturday evening about 10 o’clock I had as narrow a shave as I want again. One taxi came at me with full lights, the next» wanted all the road and the pace could not be much less than 50 miles an hour. Trusting this matter will receive attention. —I am, etc., CYCLIST.
