ATTRACTING TOURISTS
“COME TO BRITAIN” MOVEMENT. London, December 20. At a meeting at Mansion House, Lord Derby presiding, a resolution was passed endorsing the “Come to Britain” movement organized under the auspices of the Overseas Trade Department. Lord Derby announced a foundation fund of £25,000. Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister had promised an additional £5OOO annually on behalf of the Government plus ambassadorial and consular co-operation.—Australian Press Association—United Service.
