OVER THREE MILLION VOTERS. Canberra, November 13. The number of voters on the Federal rolls for the election on Saturday totals 3,457,555. Women number 1,730,529, or 3503 more than men. Only three seats in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania show an excess of women voters. —Australian Press Association. DEATH OF CANDIDATE. NAME ON BALLOT PAPERS. Melbourne, November 13. Major-General Forsyth, one of the Nationalist candidates for the Senate, died last evening after a brief illness with pneumonia, following influenza, aged 61. A difficulty asises in connection with the election papers on which his name is printed. Instructions will now have to be given to returning officers to delete it. As only two Government candidates remain for the three vacant seats, Labour is assured of one. —Australian Press Association.
